Slow Flow

Gentle

All Levels

Breath-led postures are equally effective whether you are standing, kneeling, or lying down. This Slow Flow will incorporate more than the traditional standing poses. We'll follow mindful breathing to moisten the spinal column, elasticise muscle groups, lubricate the joints, strengthen the bones, and find an alignment that sets us up for greater access to higher fields of subtle energy. You will leave feeling clear, revitalized, and deeply calm.

This steady practice focuses on strong, controlled movements to engage your muscles, fostering endurance and stability. Consistent breathwork keeps you focused, while the dynamic transitions create heat in the body, ultimately leaving you feeling both empowered and rejuvenated. This class is ideal for those with yoga experience and seeking a challenging but approachable practice.

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga is a flowing yoga practice linking conscious breathing, traditional postures, and focused attention into a moving meditation. Consistent practice cultivates strength, flexibility, concentration and connection. In this 1-hour class we experience a selection of yoga asanas from the Ashtanga Primary Series. The sequence changes slightly each month to allow practitioners to develop a sense of familiarity and confidence as we repeat movement patterns, while also inviting opportunity to explore new postures over time. Every class includes opening sun salutations, standing and seated sequences, closing postures, and restorative rest in savasana. Variations are offered to make ashtanga yoga accessible for a wide range of practitioners. This is a flowing yoga and meditation practice. No experience is necessary, but the ability to move between standing, bending, twisting, and sitting positions is recommended.

Fitonic — Yoga Fusion

Whether you’ve done yoga for a long time or are a dedicated gym-goer looking for ways to refresh your usual workout, Fitonic is a great place to start. This class is a well-rounded workout that can help you build muscle and stamina while inviting you to relax and focus. Fitonic is a blend of yoga-inspired flows, short cardio bursts, balance sequences, and bodyweight training. This type of practice is low-impact and targets the core, arms, legs, glutes, and back while focusing on breath, building strength, balance, and flexibility. By melding yoga into fitness, you can bring its stress-busting benefits and mindfulness to your exercise routine. Fitonic can transform your physique and overall sense of well-being, leaving you feeling invigorated and centered.

Lunar Flow

This strengthening sequence flows (links movement and breath) in a lateral direction and focuses on opening hips with less pressure on shoulders and wrists. Standing asanas include lunges, triangle pose, warrior poses, twists and balance work. Core work is woven throughout. Seated postures continue deepening and we close the practice in Savasana, final relaxation. The practice can be modified according to each student's ability, allowing for scaling back to a more gentle approach or finding ways to increase intensity for more advanced and energetic yogis. Appropriate for active beginners, intermediate and advanced students.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga calls forth the forces of nature to enhance the body’s wisdom and self healing. We practice through accessing and releasing connective tissue in long-held postures of weight-bearing repose. Yin Yoga affects joints by increasing lubrication, range of motion, and bone density. Energetically, with corrective realignment to best channel the prana, or life force, the electro-magnetic body is enlivened. Mentally, with focused breathing, the mind is stilled and clarified, preparing the way for insight and visionary accomplishment. Spiritually, the coursing of life-force through the body’s streams shines out your unique oneness, as your true expression of the One.

Gentle Yoga begins with breathwork and incorporates slow, gentle floor and standing postures and meditation to relieve tension in mind and body. A gentle approach guides participants to increase range of motion, improve posture and balance, restore flexibility and increase breath capacity. Learn modification of poses and the use of props. No yoga experience required.

Gentle Yoga & Nidra

Gentle Yoga offers an invitation to become present in the moment, connect with self, and move mindfully in postures to stretch and strengthen the body while calming the mind. Variations are offered so the practice is suitable for all levels. Beginners are welcome. Each class ends with a 15 minute Yoga Nidra guided rest for deep relaxation.

Chair Yoga

Accessible

Chair Yoga is a modified practice embodying classic elements of yoga, allowing participants to achieve correct postural alignment, proper breath regulation, increased strength, focus, and improved balance without fear of falling. Chair Yoga a surprisingly complete body/mind/spirit engagement, which will leave you feeling calm and rejuvenated. It’s easy and fun. All levels welcome.
