Join Sandra Carden for her workshop LADY YOGA — which explores the body/mind connection and how it relates to female pelvic floor issues, overall well-being and self esteem. You’ll learn more about the anatomy of the pelvic floor and discuss the five pelvic floor functions.
In this workshop we will:
Discuss healthy pelvic floor functions, and the definition of PF Dysfunction
Study the anatomy of the female pelvic floor
Examine the wholistic body-mind connection
Shed light on personal issues and concerns
Learn yogic techniques to balance tension/relaxation of the pelvic floor
Practice breath awareness to calm stressors that may be affecting the pelvic floor
We are all totally unique. This workshop is open to everyone, regardless of prior yoga experience. The River Studio has all supplies we may be using. If you prefer to bring your own, you will need your yoga mat, two firm blankets, a yoga strap and two yoga blocks. This is a holistic approach. These practices will help and empower. You can do this!
